Corporate Counsel Store Operations and Litigation Team The candidate will provide legal counsel and operational risk management for compliance with all federal, state, and local laws affecting the Company s vehicle sales, service, and related operations applicable to the stores and states as assigned. Support includes researching/analyzing applicable laws and providing legal advice for current and new states; responding to inquires/notices from regulators or municipalities; coordinating with Government Affairs to provide advice on the effect and legal compliance with proposed and pending new legislation and assisting with the review of state-specific store policies, customer transaction documents, procedures, and training materials. Will facilitate and manage long term, large scale legal regulatory projects. Support includes researching/analyzing applicable laws and providing legal advice; drafting customer transaction documents; and assisting in the review of store policies, procedures, and training materials. Support company business departments and initiatives as assigned. Support includes researching/analyzing applicable federal, state, and local laws and providing legal advice; assisting in the drafting and review of policies and procedures, customer transaction documents, and training materials; providing responses to inquiries/notices from regulators and municipalities; coordinating with Government Affairs to provide advice on the effect and legal compliance with proposed and pending new legislation; and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in order to facilitate Company objectives and to protect the interests of the Company.

The candidate must have a law degree. Should be a member in good standing with the bar of a U.S. Jurisdiction. Must have 3+ years of legal experience. Should have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively draft agreements and communicate legal developments and advice to associates, all levels of management, outside counsel, opposing counsel, customers and regulatory authorities.
