Associate Environmental Attorney The candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of regulatory, permitting and compliance related matters. Will research legal and regulatory matters; gather facts in connection with legal/regulatory matters and provide guidance for compliance; Coordinate review and input from appropriate business functions and cross-functional teams as needed to complete contracting documents; Provide legal guidance for non-legal departments to ensure ongoing operational compliance; Assist on other special projects as needed; Interact effectively with various regulatory agencies; Willing to travel periodically
The candidate must have Juris Doctor (JD) with strong academic credentials. Should have 1 3 years of general legal experience. Should have background in environmental, government enforcement or administrative law preferred excellent organization skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven environment; Strong researching ability and writing skills; Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Should have strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills to collaborate and work with other departments and branch locations.
