Senior Corporate Counsel Duties: Provide legal advice and assistance to enable the business to maximize/grow the business and promote corporate values in accordance with local/state/federal laws. Proactively ensure that the Legal function is in full compliance with all corporate and governmental directives, ethics, policies, regulations, and laws. Formulate and recommend operating policies and objectives, or changes in existing policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with corporate and governmental directives, regulations and laws. Engage and interact with outside law firms or advisors. Monitor matters handled by outside counsel. Commercial real estate, construction, and environmental regulation legal experience a plus. Provide legal advice to business and management personnel, and work closely and cooperatively with the Contracts organization. Apply a strong government and commercial contracting background, including a demonstrated facility with regulatory requirements for public contracting and subcontracting, requests for equitable adjustments, business systems, and claims. Familiarity with the unique issues that arise in managing a Government Contracting facility is a plus. Review employment related policies; coordinate internal investigations in conjunction with employment counsel and reviews general legal policies. Direct the resolution of all intellectual property issues (patents, trademarks, copyrights); ensure the optimal drafting and execution of policies regarding Conflicts of Interest, Antitrust Laws, Intellectual Property, and contracts such as CRADAs and contracts with ARDEC. Establish goals, objectives, policies, and budgets. Report on performance against goals, budgets. Ensure the availability of qualified personnel within areas of responsibility for assignment. Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies. Share responsibility of self-development with immediate supervisor.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 15 years work experience or equivalent experience. 10+ years of work experience plus JD Degree. Previous in-house legal counsel experience preferred. Construction Legal Experience strongly preffered.
