Counsel, Compliance The candidate will be responsible for providing advice and counsel to company and its subsidiaries on matters such as trade compliance, anti-corruption and economic sanctions, as well as other traditional compliance issues. Will be also responsible for implementing, monitoring and continuously improving the company's global compliance programs. Reports to the Assistant Compliance Officer, and has both U.S. and international responsibilities. Demonstrate high standards of professional and business ethics. Recognize potential conflicts of interest and other issues implicating ethics and compliance. Provide advice and counsel regarding issues implicating ethics and compliance. Participate in development and management of matter-specific and annual budgets. Lead and oversee internal investigations. Lead in-person training sessions. Perform all activities in a safe manner and ensure the safe work practices of those supervised. Must have Juris Doctor degree. Should have 3+ years of experience; 5 years of experience preferred. Advanced knowledge of trade compliance, anti-corruption and economic sanctions laws in the U.S. and elsewhere desired. Experience leading and overseeing internal investigations preferred. Experience leading in-person training sessions is desired. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills required. Multi-lingual skills preferred. Must have high proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic data management systems.
