Labor and Employment Attorney The candidate as the Attorney Editor Labor and Employment roles and responsibilities will be the following: Develop, edit, and/or write practical guidance on how to conduct tasks and analyze issues relevant to the Labor & Employment practice area. Draft, review, and annotate relevant form documents and checklists. Manage internal editors and external authors to ensure timely delivery of content. Help deliver a compelling and all-purpose practical guidance legal product offering across targeted markets as a member of a multi-disciplined team of content developers, product planners, IT specialists, external consultants, and marketing and sales reps. Make recommendations concerning overall content strategy and expansion. Monitor the Labor & Employment practice area for trends/news. Assist in delivering customer facing messaging/marketing, sales, and customer training/customer service.

The candidate should have Law degree from an accredited law school. Should have 5 years of experience in Labor & Employment, including at least 3 years of Business Immigration to join an exciting new division to help draft content and develop online legal products, tools and solutions for attorneys. Recent, first-hand knowledge of practicing Labor & Employment and Immigration Law, as well as, the legal process and associated workflow to help inform content development and strategic direction is needed. This role combines the experience of a former practicing attorney with product development and marketing as the person in this role will develop content for online legal products. Must have significant substantive experience in some or all of the following: drafting and reviewing labor and employment agreements and policies; providing advice to clients regarding labor and employment topics such as hiring, discipline, terminations, leaves and accommodations, equal employment opportunity, wage and hour, whistleblowing, employee health, and employee privacy; litigating employment cases. Should have some substantive experience in Business immigration is a plus (e.g., experience in employment eligibility verification (including I-9 compliance and E-Verify); permanent and temporary worker visas; and the Permanent Labor Certification program (PERM)). Must have excellent writing, editing, and online legal research skills
