Counsel - Litigation/employment

Counsel - Litigation/Employment The candidate will be managing the full spectrum of litigation matters, including content protection, intellectual property, contract, and other types of disputes; managing litigation holds; coordinating discovery tasks. Managing employment-related legal matters, including partnering with HR to conduct internal investigations, drafting responses to administrative charges, and representing the company in employment-related litigation/arbitration. Collaborating with senior leadership and HR to develop, implement and ensure compliance with workplace policies and procedures. Reviewing, drafting, and assisting with interpretation of various types of employment agreements. Assisting with the company s response to various state and federal government investigations. Must have JD from accredited law school with excellent academics and licensed to practice in one jurisdiction. Willingness to apply to D.C. Bar, if not already licensed to practice in D.C. Should have 2-5 years relevant litigation and employment law experience. 1-2 years experience at a top law firm is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills is needed.
