Corporate Counsel - Medicaid Duties: Supports the Legal Department/Regional Counsel and business clients in providing legal advice and solutions on complex state regulatory and operational issues. Provides legal advise regarding provider network issues relating to Medicaid requirements and network expansion. Providing legal counsel on state regulatory inquiries, audits, hearings and investigations. Providing proactive Legal counsel and support for Regulatory Affairs team in monitoring and analyzing emerging Medicaid regulatory issues/developments. Provide legal expertise and support on special projects as needed. Qualifications: Required Other JD Degree. Must be a member in good standing of a relevant state Bar; Florida provides for in-house counsel admission without examination. 8+ years of experience in developing and implementing strategic, proactive solutions relating to Medicaid business lines. Preferred 4+ years of management experience regulatory regimes/advocacy and formal/informal federal and state regulatory inquiries, audit, hearing and investigations. Preferred 4+ years of experience in Medicaid/MCO payment models preferred. Intermediate Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities. Intermediate Ability to drive multiple projects. Intermediate Demonstrated organizational skills. Advanced Demonstrated written communication skills. Advanced Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities. Advanced Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines. Advanced Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management. Licenses and Certifications: A license in one of the following is required: Required Other State Bar Membership. Required Advanced Microsoft Word. Required Advanced Microsoft Excel. Required Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint. Required Advanced Microsoft Outlook. Preferred Intermediate Other Serengeti.
