Real Estate Counsel The candidate will be supporting the real estate department with strategic deal negotiation and management, including purchase and sale negotiations and lease-back transactions, and supporting the legal department generally by assisting with the review and drafting of a wide variety of commercial contracts related to Company operations and general contract and policy compliance and administration as it relates to the Company s contractual relationships and arrangements. Will entail working closely with various internal departments to ensure all Company obligations are met in a timely fashion. Support strategic and real estate broker network deals, as well as investor sourcing and relationship management. Interpret and render advice on laws and regulations that pertain to real property, including commercial and residential property development projects, real estate leasing, and lease disputes. Provide guidance and support to executives in formulating the Company's long-range strategic goals for real property requirements. Lead or assist negotiation of lease provisions, as needed, and prepare drafts of leases, including amendments and renewals of the same. Be able to explain contract terms, conditions, rights and obligations to legal and business staff and make recommendations with respect to various provisions; ability to identify potential risks and legal issues and rely on prior experience and judgment with respect to appropriate risk mitigation to the Company. Preparing, reviewing and negotiating company contracts, requests for proposals and other legal documents. Consulting with management, internal business clients, accountants and marketing staff. Assist with management of central tracking system for all contracts, including expiration dates, renewals, options and other significant rights and obligations. Work collaboratively and professionally with all members of the Company and third parties. Other duties as assigned.

The candidate should have JD degree from accredited law school, admitted to the CO Bar. Must have 2-4 years related experience working in a corporate or law firm setting, reviewing and drafting a variety of contracts with emphasis on real estate transactions and leasing. Real estate broker license, with experience as a broker preferably in a resort setting is preferred. Experience with international/cross-border operations is preferred. Experience drafting, negotiating, and interpreting complex transactions is preferred.
