Counsel, Insurance and Litigation Responsibilities: Abide by and demonstrate the Company Mission Vision Values through both behavior and job performance on a day-to-day basis. Provide day to day management of portfolio of litigation and pre-dispute matters. Collaborate with ADM s insurers in the resolution of insured claims. Implement and enhance protocols for managing discovery and litigation. Report on reserves and other key metrics associated with the assigned docket of cases. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners and legal department members.

Requirements: Illinois licensed attorney with at least five to seven (5-7) years litigation experience. Demonstrated experience handling complex person injury, product liability, premises and property damage claims. Familiarity with insurance coverage for claims, including reserving and reporting requirements. Outstanding advocacy, presentation, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and positively influence outcomes. Work independently with general supervision and direction from the Chief Litigation and Regulatory Counsel in furtherance of department goals and the strategic plan. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment handling multiple competing tasks simultaneously to closure. Highly motivated, proactive, self-disciplined and team-oriented.
