Litigation Counsel

Litigation Counsel The candidate will provide legal counsel on a diverse range of matters related to day-to-day operations of the Company, including advising business leaders regarding legal issues and negotiating with business clients regarding contractual disputes. Assist with intellectual property (patent, trademark, copyright) disputes and litigation. Conduct legal research and prepare legal analyses and recommendations. Assess and evaluate risk. Perform internal investigations. Oversee electronic discovery, manage and refine data preservation and e-discovery policies, and supervise the collection of electronic and paper documents. Also assist and manage outside counsel on litigation matters.

The candidate must be a member of a state Bar. An Undergraduate and J.D. degrees from well-recognized institutions is desired. Top law firm experience focused on federal civil litigation is desired. Must be experienced in all aspects of document retention, holds, collection, and e-discovery. Significant technology and intellectual property litigation experience preferred. should have ability to organize, plan, oversee and implement large and ongoing projects and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the skills necessary to draft and edit court pleadings.
