Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel The candidate will be responsible for the management of the contracting process with multi-family clients, advising senior members of management team on other corporate legal matters, other projects as needed and assigned by the company. Will be negotiating, writing, and executing agreements and contracts on behalf of the company. Offer counsel on a variety of legal issues. Advising on contract status, legal risks, and legal liabilities associated with corporate transactions. Advising executives within the company. Researching and anticipating unique legal issues that could impact the company. Reviewing, advertising, and marketing materials to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Working alongside other departments within the company. Providing training to the company on legal topics. Must have law degree from a recognized university. Must be admitted to a recognized Bar. 5+ years of experience gained in a large law firm and/or in-house with major firm preferred. Must have strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Must have ability to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the organization and strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues. Must have computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CRM.
