Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel The candidate will structure, draft, and review a wide variety of contracts involving the companys business including customer agreements, vendor agreements, and BIN sponsor agreements with financial institution partners. Will work cross-functionally with the sales, account management, finance, and operations teams to ensure that contractual terms are compliant with legal, regulatory, and company policies and risk tolerances. Research, anticipate, and guard company against legal risks. Serve as an in-house legal expert providing guidance on legislation and regulation impacting the payments industry. Advise management and internal departments on a variety of topics related to regulatory compliance. Maintain knowledge of changes in relevant payment industry laws and industry trends, as well as international compliance with laws and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Must have Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited university. Currently licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or the ability to secure a limited in-house corporate counsel license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania promptly after start date is essential. Must have 3 5 years of experience , both at a law firm and in house. Must have sound legal/business judgement, and have a demonstrated ability to find creative solutions to complex problem. Payments industry or financial services experience is preferred.
