Entertainment Attorney The candidate will work with in-house expert tax attorney to learn deal structure inside and out. Learn, understand, explain, and negotiate complex tax equity deal structures across multiple industries with CPAs, clients and attorneys. Write, review, and edit agreements and other necessary deal documents. Research tax code, read relevant industry briefs to further the legal support. Be able to interact with clients and Streamline partners in the negotiation process. Must possess incredibly strong critical thinking skills along with considerable written/oral communication, research, debate, and organizational skills. Should have Juris Doctor (J.D.); Completion of Bachelors degree followed by law school. Must have 3 years Experience with IRS as an attorney or auditor. Should have 5 years Experience as an entertainment attorney. Must have 3 years Experience with IRS and/or as tax court litigator. Between 10 and 20 years dealmaking sales closing, and/or transactional negotiating experience on a decision-making level required. IP-related experience a plus, especially in entertainment contract/dealmaking.
