Counsel, Corporate Legal Responsibilities: Draft and negotiate contracts and related documents in regard to technology related initiatives and vendor relationships. Work with internal co-counsel, SMEs, and business teams on technology contracts and projects. Provide substantive advice on wide-ranging technology, privacy, and data security issues. Work with Chick-fil-A internal co-counsel, business teams and/or outside counsel with regard to vendor onboarding, RFPs, management and compliance issues, providing leadership and strategic input in addition to substantive legal advice. Draft, review and provide counsel in regard to policies, documents and communications related to technology matters and business initiatives. Develop on-going technology and software contracts-related strategies, processes and forms for the contracts area and communicate with business teams and outside legal counsel regarding same. Work with and manage a variety of outside legal counsel. Monitor technology and data security-related developments, trends and issues in an effort to meet current and anticipate new business needs. Actively lead and participate in meetings with business contacts pertaining to technology issues. Attend outside seminars and other business events related to technology, data security and privacy issues and other issues relevant to the role; stay current on the subject matter. Assess and advise the organization on various technology contract matters impacting Chick-fil-A, Inc.s franchise model or franchisee relations. Lead, participate in, and develop presentations, training programs, and materials for Chick-fil-A, Inc.s business teams in regard to relevant technology, privacy, and data security contract issues. Help manage budget related to the technology contracts area. Participate in planning, budgeting and strategy for the Contracts Team and the Corporate Legal Department.

Qualifications: Four year college degree. Law degree from accredited law school. 3 years of experience in drafting and negotiating a variety of technology contracts and providing advice and counseling on technology, privacy, and data security related matters. Large law firm, relevant boutique experience, and/or focused in-house corporate experience. Demonstrated academic success in law school (top 25% of class). Preferred Qualifications: A degree and/or prior work experience in a technology-related field. Strong negotiation skills. Strong communication skills. Strong writing and editing skills. Ability to identify and set priorities and juggle multiple matters. Strong organizational skills. Strong management and leadership skills. High level of initiative and desire to work in an in-house legal department. Ability to serve leadership and supporting roles in cross-functional projects and/or on cross-functional teams.
