Counsel, Intellectual Property Responsibilities: Draft and negotiate agreements for the company s development and deployment of innovative emerging technologies. Key current areas of focus include VR/AR/MR, AI, and advanced VFX and animation technology Draft and negotiate software licenses and services agreements Provide IP support for company acquisitions and equity investments, including helping to structure and negotiate IP provisions and conducting IP due diligence. Advise business on legal issues associated with open source software, new technology prototyping, R&D and joint development activities Advise business unit lawyers on IP technology elements of agreements with partners and vendors, and help to devise uniform policies for such elements for use in appropriate cases. Support IP aspects of company s participation in standards-setting organizations and cross-industry initiatives. Other matters as needed.

Qualifications: JD Degree or LLM degree from an accredited law school. Member in good standing of the California State Bar of another State Bar and registered as in-house counsel. 3+ years of IP transactions-related law firm or in-house work experience.
