Managing Paralegal - WIM Regulatory and Internal Investigations Team Duties: Manages a team of Paralegals to provide effective support to the Regulatory and Internal Investigations team that supports Wealth and Investment Management lines of business. Oversees the work of the team and monitors progress to ensure timely completion of tasks, exercising the usual authority of a manager. Oversees teams reporting and compliance with Company protocols, policies and procedure, as well as the team consistency in connection with preparation of legal documentation, correspondence with clients and attorneys, and other materials. Develops processes to track and ensure quality and accuracy; develops best practices. Responds to escalated issues, providing direct support to senior leadership, as needed. Provides training and guidance to the team, and manages the onboarding of new team members. Ensures compliance with all applicable policy and regulatory requirements. Coordinates with attorneys on special requests or highly complex projects. Lead team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them. Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Qualifications: 6+ years of paralegal experience. 1+ year of leadership or management experience. Desired Qualifications: 5+ years of focused practice experience in one or more concentrated areas of law. Workforce management experience including: directing activities of team members, performance management, career development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management. Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills. Experience in securities industry and/or financial services industry, including regulatory enforcement and investigations. Close Date: 4/27/2019
