Senior Manager, Contracts Attorney

Senior Manager, Contracts Attorney The candidate will directly drafting, reviewing and negotiating client development and manufacturing services contracts; supporting and advising the Contracts Management team in reviewing and negotiating contracts; advising on various other commercial agreements (e.g., Procurement, consulting arrangements, and c.); contributing to the development of contract templates and playbooks for use across the Group; working to resolve client relationship issues as may be assigned, and such other duties as assigned. Will work cross-functionally with Division and Group level Legal, Commercial, Sales, Business Management, Finance, Operations, Quality, and Contracts Management to negotiate and close contracts that meet company policies and legal requirements and achieve profitable growth for PSG. Ensure that the ease and effectiveness of the commercial contracting process is a market differentiator for PSG in customer experience and that vendor/supplier contracts strive to maximize cost savings, reduce risk, and ensure continuity of supply from critical vendors.

The candidate must have Juris Doctorate degree and 5+years experience as a licensed attorney, including substantive experience drafting, reviewing, revising and negotiating commercial contracts, strategic alliances and other business transactions, preferably in the life science sector. Must have applicable legal licensure and Bar membership. Must have experience delivering on project commitments and experience leading negotiations and closing deals. Experience of successful "cradle to grave" contracts legal advice, including advising on complex proposals, negotiating terms, and managing contract changes is essential.Understanding the legal consequence of contract terms and the likely result should contract result in litigation/arbitration is essential. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skill is essential. Must have excellent written and oral communications skills. Must have proficiency with the latest MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and related electronic tools for editing, documenting, tracking and communicating. Must have excellent analytical contract and business skills with above average oral and written communications skills to support contract negotiations at all levels. Must be proficient in English.
