Manager, Associate Counsel Real Estate The candidate will provide responsibilities include: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, including with respect to facilities, cruise port development, cruise port operations, construction projects, and casino. Draft and review transnational real estate documents, including, among others, letters of intent, memorandum of understanding, heads of agreement, development agreements, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and confidentiality agreements. Provide strategic legal advice to a number of internal departments and assist with administration of contracts in accordance with Company policies and legal requirements. Research, review, and interpret the requirements of governmental agencies, laws, statutes, rules, regulations, and court decisions. Work closely with and provide counsel to business leaders and other cross-functional teams. Identify and evaluate risks and propose solutions to mitigate risks. Perform other duties as required. The candidate Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor from an accredited university and law school is required. License to practice law is required; Florida Bar is preferred. Must have 3+ years of real estate/ transactional experience; medium/large law firm and/or in-house experience is preferred. Must have strong analytical and reasoning skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to make decisions and assess acceptable levels of business risk. Must have excellent drafting ability; must draft contracts, reports, and business correspondence. Must be able to work independently and efficiently under time pressures and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Must work with a sense of professional pride, possess a strong work ethic, be proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible, and have business and personal integrity. Must have ability to effectively communicate with senior management, including the ability to simplify technical and legal jargon; effective public speaking ability. Must be highly organized, detailed oriented, responsive, and dependable. Must have ability to handle multiple urgent and important matters while maintaining professional but cordial relations with internal clients. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online research tools.
