Contracts Attorney The candidate will be responsible to assist the VP of Legal and Administrative Services and Director of Contracts and Compliance in the overall management and administration of all customer, subcontractor and strategic partner contracts. Develops solid working relationships with market leads, operations team, financial team and senior management team, and other impacted stakeholders. Provides advice and guidance related to contractual rights and obligations, as well as interpretation of terms and conditions. Demonstrates knowledge of, and the ability to interpret and apply, understanding of the FAR, DFARS, and other applicable laws and regulations in managing agreements and contracts. Prepares and/or reviews non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, consultant and subcontractor arrangements, purchase order terms and conditions, distribution agreements, service agreements, etc. Remains current with government contracts by identifying relevant trends or changes that will impact the business. Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field. 3 - 5 years of direct contracts experience, including drafting and negotiating is necessary. Juris doctorate from accredited law school/university is critical. State Bar admission is essential.Solid understanding of Government Procurement Process is necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed. Experience working with Contact Management Systems is critical. Strong technical skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
