Senior Corporate Counsel The candidate will be a commercial transactions lawyer on the transactions legal team supporting various departments and initiatives, with primary emphasis on supporting the companys global sales organization. Will negotiate and draft master subscription services agreements and other commercial agreements with customers in support of the North America Sales and Professional Services organizations. Will provide legal and commercial support in relation to existing customer relationships. Will partner with sales operations, revenue accounting, information security, technology operations, and other stakeholder teams to ensure agreements align with internal policies, operations, and processes. Will draft and negotiate a variety of procurement agreements. Will actively contribute to the commercial legal team in the ongoing development of skills, knowledge, and efforts to scale.
The candidate should have J.D. degree and 7-10 years combined experience in law firm and/or in-house legal department. Should have 4+ years negotiating and drafting technology agreements, including experience supporting quota-carrying, enterprise level sales teams. Experience with issues pertaining to SaaS agreements, technology licensing, data security and privacy, and intellectual property. Experience in and/or knowledge of enterprise software industry, including US revenue recognition, especially in SaaS. Ability to develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with internal clients, including senior sales leadership. Experience working independently from a regional headquarters location. Highly responsive and customer service-oriented attitude. Team spirit and collaborative attitude.
