Corporate Counsel Responsibilities: Interpret medical laws and standards in current states in which Milan Laser operates in as well as new states; Provide consultation and legal advice with respect to strategic initiatives in potentially sensitive and highly complex matters; Maintain current knowledge of legal issues and developments in the law; Identify unmet needs and future legal issues and proactively proposes strategies to optimize outcomes and results for the company and manage risk.
The candidate should have Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. Current Nebraska law license. Should have 3-5+ years of experience as an attorney with a top-tier law firm or corporation dealing with healthcare, corporate, contracting, and other business transactions. Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to pick up on nuances of client interaction and communications. Execution focused with exceptional writing, presentation and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in an extremely fast-paced environment, be extremely organized and have an eye for detail. Strong project management, technology and problem-solving skills.
