Assistant Counsel IP and Real Estate

Assistant Counsel IP and Real Estate Duties: Reporting to the Vice President and Head of Technology, IP, Vendor Oversight & Real Estate, will provide business savvy legal support for technology and intellectual property initiatives across the company. From your base in our global headquarters office in the Denver Tech Center, will serve as a trusted partner regarding technology and intellectual property matters, including in connection with the development of products, platforms, services and other strategic technology initiatives.

Qualifications: 2-4+ years of experience, preferably in law firm practice involving transactional or litigation issues with software technology and/or IP. JD Degree from an ABA-accredited school of law and admitted to at least one U.S. state Bar as well as Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering coupled with real hands-on experience with agile software development methodology and DevOps practices. Will have strong oral and written communication skills tailored for the client as well as Willingness to question the status quo and advocate for necessary change to improve internal processes. Must have experience working with international companies and negotiating in diverse cultures.
