Contracts Attorney The candidate will negotiate with Suppliers on behalf of the firm on a broad range of agreements. Provide strategic counsel to company stakeholders relating to implications of contract provisions, including intellectual property ownership and licensing, warranties, indemnification, data protection, and limitation of liability. Provide advice on contracting and business matters to firm stakeholders from all departments. Review redlines, provide Risk Analysis, and assist the firm business teams with any contracting needs. Facilitate transactions involving all levels of managements, in-house counsel, company affiliates, and opposing counsel. Manage up to forty deals at once and meet strict deadlines while providing counsel for new projects.
The candidate should have a JD, Bar Membership (any state) expected. Minimum 2+ years legal experience (law school experience considered). Proficient in MS Office, Sharepoint, and Adobe. Excellent attention to detail in drafting contracts. Organized, detail-oriented and process driven. Strong verbal and written communicator. Ability to manage multiple matters under pressure. Technical knowledge of Information Technology products a plus.
