Senior Counsel, Real Estate The candidate will provide duties include: Work with firm business partners to quickly acquire legal rights to premises across North America and internationally. Draft, review, structure and negotiate various real estate agreements across a large domestic and growing international portfolio, including but limited to leasing agreements, hotel management agreements, finance, purchase and sale agreements. Provide advice and guidance regarding risk management and dispute resolution issues related to real estate transactions. Identify opportunities for internal process improvements and implement them.

The candidate must have J.D. from top-tier law school. Must have evidence of exceptional ability. Must have admission to California bar or ability to register as in-house counsel. Must have 5-8+ years of legal experience as a commercial real estate attorney, preferably with the majority of that experience handling complex and routine commercial leasing and related matters. Must have strong drafting and analytical skills. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must have ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Must have proactive attitude with the ability to identify gaps and willingness to step in where needed. Must have ability to work independently as well as on teams with diverse personalities and skill levels.
