Employment Counsel The candidate will involve in meeting with HRBPs on employee relations matters where will leverage expertise in European employment laws to provide practical advice that balances legal risks with company objectives. Will also review and advise on company policies and practices, such as recruiting practices, employment agreements, sales compensation plans or the employee handbook. Team with outside counsel on particular matters, and leverage their expertise to help navigate complex employment issues. Provide day-to-day legal advice and support to Human Resources and management. Advise on topics such as employee handbooks, policies and procedures; recruiting and hiring; employee relations; performance management; discipline and terminations; internal investigations; disability and accommodations; sick leave and other leaves of absence; working time; compensation and benefits; discrimination, harassment and retaliation; confidentiality and restrictive covenants; global M&A; and, contingent worker issues. Keep informed of significant labor and employment trends and decisions, legislation and rulings. Draft and coordinate responses to requests for employment records, demand letters, and government audits and investigations. Must be experienced employment attorney with deep experience in EMEA employment law.
