Contracts Counsel The candidate will work on the full spectrum of sales agreements and some vendor agreements. Legal counsel for Sales contracts (SaaS agreements) and related customer-facing matters. Draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements, working closely with Sales reps and leadership. Acting as a partner and informal mentor to team paralegals. Reviewing and revising various form agreements. Identifying and implementing methods for improving and streamlining existing processes. Creating and rolling out long-term legal strategies and new processes. Must have a J.D. from an accredited law school, and have 4 years experience in negotiating commercial contracts, preferably in the area of software licensing, cloud based software experience a plus. Must be prepared to negotiate a significant volume of sales/revenue agreements as growth projections are high. Work closely with Sales and Security, experience with privacy issues a plus. Must be licensed in state where working. 4 years experience in negotiating commercial contracts, preferably in the area of software licensing required. Cloud Software a plus. Should have experience with supporting enterprise sales. Must be prepared to negotiate and drive a growing volume of sales/revenue agreements. Knowledge of Privacy trends a plus. should have strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
