Associate Counsel, Immigration

Associate Counsel, Immigration Candidate will: Provide legal and strategic immigration advice, including helping to establish corporate immigration policies and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Manage a high-volume workload of immigration cases, including the drafting and filing of extensions and amendments and working with outside counsel to draft and prepare complex employment-based visa petitions and applications. Provide legal advice regarding immigration issues, including H-1B, J-1, PERM labor certification, and immigrant visa petitions. Provide strategic direction on workforce planning, job changes, and employer obligations related to immigration requirements and documentation. Be in direct contact with Sound Physicians colleagues through the entire employee immigration life cycle. Serve as a legal partner to Sound Physicians by understanding its business needs and working to find solutions that meet those needs. Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest developments in immigration, corporate, and healthcare law, and in other related areas. Must have: JD Degree. 3-5 years of experience in business immigration law with a focus on healthcare.
