Corporate Counsel Responsibilities: Will advise on legal issues related to corporate business practices and support compliance efforts activities. Will provide business-oriented compliance, counsel and legal support in the following areas: Corporate governance and compliance, Corporate development and M&A support, Data security and information technology, Privacy compliance, including GDPR and CCPA, Licensing, Employment law, Equity Compensation, Litigation, including supervising outside counsel, Contract review, negotiation, approval and management.
Qualifications: JD Degree from a top tier law school. Licensed Attorney, qualified to practice in-house in the state of Utah, or the ability to obtain such license. 2-5 years of corporate legal experience in a large law firm or in-house practice, preferably focusing on corporate transactional work, and/or legal compliance (complex corporate litigation experience acceptable as well. Preferred: Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Ability to engage effectively with top executives, outside counsel, and internal legal team. Sound business judgment. Proven analytical ability and research skills. Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well with others. Superior written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage several projects at once.
