In-House Immigration Counsel Duties: Prepare a full range of business immigration applications for employees across various disciplines. Review of case documents, tracking, monitoring, and logging all evidence and documents for relevant petitions, and prepare documentation for filings. Liaise with employees to communicate immigration case status. Research immigration law, processes, and procedures to ensure company compliance. Advise on I-9 and E-Verify compliance and corporate immigration policies and strategies. Develop best practices and communication workflows for new employee intake.
Qualifications: JD Degree from an ABA accredited law school and license to practice law in the U.S. 5+ years of experience as an immigration attorney. Experience in full range of NIV petitions, including H-1B, E-3, B-1, and L-1A/L-1B; PERM, I-140, I-485; and RFE responses. Ability to prioritize, manage, and implement multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Excellent attention to detail and case management/organizational skills. Ability to take ownership and complete assignments under minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Extraordinary interpersonal skills and client service attitude. Handles confidential information with professionalism. Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
