Attorney, Corporate Claims Responsibilities: Investigate, manage and direct the defense of legal actions and major claims initiated by third parties against the Company. Participate in mediations and settlement conferences and negotiate settlements. Work with and provide legal advice to multiple business units in Regional Claims, Engineering and Line department and multiple operating companies. Analyze information, legal documents, interview relevant parties and consultants and attend depositions and trials. Conduct legal research. Represent the Company in legal disputes and transactions with opposing counsel. Understand and manage work according to departmental budget.

Qualifications: JD degree from an accredited law school required. Active license in PA and/or NJ or OH required. 5+ years relevant work experience required. Relevant work experience will include experience investigating and managing claims and negotiating settlements. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Work, PowerPoint). Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with people at all levels and with varying backgrounds. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality. Demonstrated proficiency in legal research. Ability to work with limited supervision. Strong team player. Problem solver, seeking creative solutions.
