Attorney-Contracts Consultant (Temporary) The candidate will provide exceptional legal services to internal business units by responding to routine matters and questions in a timely manner. Will also review, draft and negotiate various contracts, including business associate agreements and statements of work. Additional responsibilities include contracts library research, administration, review of regulatory agreements and answering inquiries on RFPs. Draft, manage and negotiate contracts. Prepare legal and termination summaries. Review and analyze contracts files; conduct legal research. Monitor and track contracts; enter status of contracts in various status report databases. Prepare legal correspondence or other documents as needed. Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan. Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned. Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. JD required. Should have 1-3 years legal experience with a law firm or corporate legal department handling contract matters. Should have ability to work remotely with minimal interruptions to the work day. Proven ability to learn the legal and business drivers of complex contracts. A particular focus on healthcare, technology, and/or professional services is needed. Experience handling and negotiating contracts and related agreements preferred. Masters or better in Law is preferred.
