Associate Corporate Counsel The candidate will provide legal support primarily for Company Global Marketing operations in the U.S., and will involve working with and advising the Global Marketing business teams on a variety of commercial transactions and legal issues. This position will report to the Chief Legal Counsel. Responsibilities: Draft, review and revise supplier agreements and other commercial agreements. Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts. Conduct legal research regarding product safety statutes and regulations and other applicable laws and regulations and advise management and sales teams and affiliated companies in the U.S. and Asia regarding legal and regulatory compliance. Assist in the resolution of disputes. Provide legal advice to Global Marketing management and Company U.S. and international subsidiaries on various matters, such as antitrust, corporate governance, intellectual property, product safety and other legal and regulatory compliance, commercial and corporate transactions, advertising, products liability, sales agreements, and trade regulations. Requirements: J.D. degree from accredited U.S. law school with excellent academic credentials. Licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia, including membership in the State Bar of Georgia. 5-7 years experience practicing law in a law firm and/or corporate legal department. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent research and writing skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of Intellectual Property law a plus.
