In-House Litigation Attorney

In-House Litigation Attorney The candidate will be responsible for providing clear, concise legal and strategic advice with a practical, business-oriented approach. Will serve all phases of litigation including case management, motion practice, discovery, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Conducting discovery. Performing legal research. Remaining current with developments in the law. Represent the interests of the company at hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings. Negotiate settlements on behalf of the company. Must have Litigation experience, including trial experience. Should have working knowledge of State and Federal law. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus. Must have extensive experience with legal and business issues including fraudulent transactions, real property transactions, personal injury, property damage, premises liability, and economic loss. Should have J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and being an active member in good standing of the Nevada State Bar; California admission is a plus. Must have 5 uninterrupted years of experience at a law firm. Should have significant litigation experience, including discovery disputes, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. Should have effective written and oral communications and have polished negotiation skills. Experience with - commercial litigation; real estate financing; real estate leasing; and/or drafting and negotiating contracts helpful.
