Associate Counsel - Is Security & Compliance The candidate will prepare and review corporate contracts and other legal documents, provides advice on physician transaction and alignment issues, ensures all contracts comply with the applicable federal and state regulatory guidelines (e.g., anti-kickback, Stark, etc.), coordinates with various internal departments and outside counsel on key contractual terms and conditions, develops and refines standard templates for use throughout the health system, and advises the health system on a broad range of other legal, information security and regulatory issues. Will help enhance security programs, such as HIPAA, PCI and NIST, and provides general security and data protection advice across the health system.
The candidate should have a Juris Doctor and liscensed to Florida Bar. 1 year in Healthcare in related field. Required computer skills appropriate to position. Required critical thinking skills, organizational skills. Must be Detail oriented. Required Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position. Additional required skills includes drafting and writing skills and superior legal research capabilities, in addition to strong academic credentials. Technology - related degree or certifications, and/or equivalent combination of technology and security experience preferred.
