Corporate IT Counsel The candidate will be reviewing, drafting and negotiating procurement and supply chain agreements, including sourcing, supply, technology acquisition, in-bound technology licensing, outsourced services, and information security agreements. Provide trusted advisor support to IT personnel, including the contracting team and cyber security and privacy experts. Contribute to the short and long-term courses of action that support the organization's overall vision and mission; balance business, technical, and operational issues when determining a strategy; incorporate knowledge of goals/strategy as well as competitive, customer, supplier, industry, or marketplace trends into strategic plans; capitalize on opportunities and manage risks. Apply knowledge to frame, simplify and solve complex issues; focus on identifying root causes to create solutions in a timely and decisive manner; reconcile conflicting and/or incomplete information to develop solutions. Logically process information to produce insights in a consumable format; aggregate, cleanse, and disseminate data in structured formats to support better business decisions and improved performance. Ensuring compliance with the company's legal, financial and risk management policies and procedures. Develop processes and policies to address legal needs.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university. Bar admission in good standing in the U.S., preferably Virginia or Atlanta. Five+ years of complex technology and commercial transaction experience, including supporting a multinational organization's IT procurement team, whether in house or with a prominent law firm. Be a proactive self-starter who is comfortable identifying IT issues, forming and proposing solutions, and following through to ensure proper reporting and implementation. Have experience with international transactions and issues. Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and motivate others along with strong collaboration and project management skills.
