Associate General Counsel, Product Compliance The candidate will provide legal advice and support day-to-day activities of the Firm's product teams relating to the implementation and execution on a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters. Will advise on compliance obligations arising under contracts, settlements, laws, regulations, and other legal requirements. Help embed compliance in the company's product and service designs. Evaluate impacts of emerging compliance regulations to business operations. Develop, design, implement and communicate compliance policies, processes, programs and training. Draft, negotiate and advise on compliance provisions of contracts, terms of service, and related agreements. Actively collaborate with and develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships across a broad-range of business and legal clients. Undertake special projects and support other compliance program initiatives. Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships across a broad-range of business and legal verticals. Travel domestically and internationally as needed. The candidate should have J.D. degree with membership in at least one U.S. State Bar. Must have 8+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney. Must have experience in compliance counseling and/or program development. Experience advising and training diverse populations is required. In-house experience at internet, technology, electronics, or telecommunications companies is preferred. Experience counseling product businesses on compliance matters across a wide variety of legal issues is plus. Adept at delivering practical advice under pressure and prioritizing work is desired. Interpersonal experience and experience collaborating with teams to solve problems, including proven skills leading projects or programs that rely on and bring together - multiple teams is desired.
