Corporate Counsel The candidate will be a well-rounded, business-minded generalist with the ability to provide counsel on a wide range of's trategic, tactical and operational matters. Will report directly to the Firm's General Counsel and interact with Firm's home office and community personnel. Will be responsible for managing (i) insurance program and (ii) the day-to-day legal affairs of and with limited oversight from others within the Companies legal department. The essential functions of the role of Corporate Counsel include, without limitation, the following: Prepare, review and revise form resident agreements, which will include the creation and revision of form documents in the Thomson Reuters Contract Express document automation's ystem. Manage collection matters, evictions and litigation matters including records requests, discovery matters, development of case's trategy, etc. Review, draft and negotiate a wide array of commercial contracts, including non-disclosure agreements and management, licensing,'s upply,'s ales, vendor, e-commerce, consulting and technology agreements. Review, interpret and provide advice with respect to various legal matters including's enior living regulations, pharmacy regulations, compliance, licensing, vehicle and equipment titling, employment matters and contract matters. Participate in due diligence collection and review process for acquisitions and divestitures. Oversee licensure process, including initial licensing and renewals for communities. Manage the Dover Companies insurance programs and claims process including the placement and renewal of policies's uch as General Liability, Professional Liability, Property, Auto, D&O, and other policies, as needed. Coordinate the procurement and replacement of certificates of insurance with all Dover Companies business units, and their respective lenders and vendors. Cooperate with and's upervise Dover Companies paralegals and's upport's taff. Complete other projects as are assigned from time to time. The candidate's hould have 2+ years of legal experience with a law firm or corporate legal department.'s ome experience with insurance, health care, corporate formation and/or compliance preferred.'s hould be Licensed to practice law in the's tate.'s hould have dedication to's erving the Dover Companies ? mission of's erving's eniors. Must have ability to work well with others and take direction from management, as well as take initiative willing to go above and beyond to ensure the needs of the organization are met in accordance with the firm core values.'s hould have passion to achieve results through's elf-motivation, initiative, and proactive orientation with a's ense of professional curiosity, desire to learn new things and to find / recommend's olutions to problems.
