Senior Corporate Attorney, Contracts Manager

Senior Corporate Attorney, Contracts Manager The candidate will lead and manage a team of attorneys responsible for a large variety of contracts and related legal issues with a focus on, information technology. Will support all areas of the business by negotiating and drafting contracts that achieve business goals while protecting the company's legal interests. Handle matters of significant legal complexity and will be a subject matter expert in the area of Progressive's contract review process. Must have Juris Doctorate. Active license to practice law in at least one state; Active or Corporate license in state where working. Should have 8+ years of legal experience/training. Prior management experience as well as legal experience in the insurance industry preferred. Experience using artificial intelligence and other technology tools to increase efficiency while mitigating risk desired. Extensive contract negotiation, contract drafting, legal research and analytical skills, the ability to assimilate complex legal analysis into lay terms preferred.
