In-House Litigation Counsel The candidate must have a law degree from a recognized university in Texas. Must be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Should have 4+ years of experience in defending Medical Malpractice Cases. Should have strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization. Should have strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues. Should have ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with in the organization's legal department and across all company departments. Must be able to handle all aspects of litigation from the initial claim through trial, including pleadings, motions, preparing and responding to discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations and all aspects of trial practice. Office is located in southwest Fort Worth, we have remained open throughout 2020, and daily attendance is required. Will be working alongside other departments within the company. Researching and anticipating unique legal issues that could impact the company. Providing training to the company on legal topics. Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and regulations.
