Corporate Counsel The candidate will work under the direction of our COO/GC. Draft legal agreements with third-party partners, including insurance carriers, recordkeepers, investment advisors and trust companies. Work closely with the business team to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including ERISA. Work closely with outside law firms on necessary legal opinions regulatory guidance and necessary legal opinions. Advise company leadership on other legal matters, including corporate governance. 7-10 years big firm experience in a transactional/general corporate role. Financial services or Insurance industry experience preferred. In-house experience a plus. Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.
