Compliance Officer and/or General Counsel Duties: Oversee the Corporate Compliance Program, and provide legal support to the Company. Ensures management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, company policies and procedures are being followed, and behavior in the organization meets Company and regulatory compliance standards. May support the company by providing legal focus and oversight on transactions. Drafting and negotiating confidentiality agreements for situations in which the company provides confidential information and in which the company receives confidential information. Review and negotiate proposals, letters of intent with respect to proposed transactions, and will provide input on the decision whether to send matters to outside counsel and assist in the oversight of outside counsel as necessary. Will be responsible for assisting management on all corporate, legal and regulatory matters, including: General contracts, leases, Third party agreements, vendor supplier relationships. Management of external counsel and general litigation. Employment law, contracts, claims, devising company policies.

Qualifications: Law degree highly preferred. 5+ years' experience in a healthcare organization, to include demonstrated leadership and project management. Familiarity with medical laboratory regulations, operational, financial, quality assurance, and human resource procedures and regulations is a must. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Experience developing and delivering effective training programs to all levels of an organization. Computer experience required with working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Successfully pass Company pre-employment drug test and periodic and random thereafter. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English including communication skills by telephone, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy required. Ability to supervise/manager one administrative personnel Demonstrated and proven ability/experience in accomplishments in all of our five core values: Proven ability to complete tasks with excellence. Demonstrated ability to be committed to the company, team and job. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team. Proven desire to work in the healthcare field by demonstrating care of others as expressed in various ways including professionalism.
