Privacy and Compliance Attorney The candidate's duties include: Oversee firm's global privacy law compliance program, including GDPR (EU), LGPD (Brazil), Data Protection Act (UK), PIPEDA (Canada), PDPL (Bahrain) and US state and federal privacy laws. Oversee various major compliance programs including FCPA, OFAC, AML, export, and anti-corruption. Advise on various projects covering a diverse range of legal issues. Accurately assess and manage risk through knowledge of firm's business and relevant legal issues. Develop a thorough understanding of firm's business, processes, and strategy to provide innovative legal solutions that solve unique or challenging problems. Establish strong and collaborative relationships across the organization with a service-minded approach. Analyse and stay current with applicable state, federal and specific country regulations that apply to our line of business. Should have J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in at least one state. Must have 5+ years of experience at a law firm or corporation with significant privacy compliance experience. Should have excellent organizational and communication skills as well as outstanding written and verbal skills.
