Counsel - Compliance Responsibilities: Play a key role in implementing all necessary actions to ensure achievement of the objectives of an effective corporate compliance program including: Leading investigations on potential compliance concerns; developing and revising policies and procedures for the operation of the overall corporate compliance program; collaborating with business units to direct compliance issues for investigation and resolution; responding to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; identifying areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; developing and implementing corrective action plans; ensuring proper reporting of potential violations to enforcement agencies, as appropriate; preparing and providing training on ethics, compliance and regulatory requirements; and maintaining an effective compliance communication program for the Company, including promoting the use of and monitoring the Compliance Hotline, and an understanding of new and existing compliance issues and related policies and procedures. Establish and maintain a strong working relationship and coordination with the business units to ensure timely completion of compliance activities, perform documentation updates and remediation, where appropriate. Work to develop processes to monitor and document evidence of compliance, where required, and work closely and collaboratively with all business units to enhance and continuously improve the culture of compliance within the Company.

Requirements: JD Degree, with 1+ years of relevant experience. Must hold an active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of PA. In-house or large law firm experience is preferred in compliance, regulatory or governmental work, but is not required. Will also possess an aptitude and enthusiasm for continuous improvement and continued development of expertise related both to corporate compliance as well as energy industry regulatory compliance requirements. Requires a high degree of sensitivity and discretion in dealing with legal and confidential matters, excellent organizational skills, and strong project management skills. Ability to work effectively and independently in a collaborative and transparent work environment as part of a results oriented, matrix organization. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple issues and work reliably on complex issues with tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills required to communicate in a collaborative, concise and professional manner. Attention to detail. Demonstrated analytical abilities, including problem solving and decision making.
