Real Estate Attorney The candidate will provide legal counsel for the company's asset management group, property management group, development group, and capital markets group, with a particular focus on the disposition and refinancing of operating assets and oversight of operating assets. Manage all legal aspects of real estate development transactions, financing transactions, and real estate dispositions, including drafting letters of intent and purchase and sale agreements. Attend to due diligence in connection with any transactions. Review financing and equity commitment letters. Oversee and collaborate with outside counsel in negotiation and draft various agreements required for the transactions. Handle internal aspects of the transactional process including tracking and preparing closing deliverables, coordinating operational action items, and handling all entity level matters such as formation and organizational authority. Draft and negotiate property level agreements. Attend to day to day matters affecting the operating portfolio. Attending to day to day matters affecting the development properties. Interact with the company's internal counsel, paralegals, and outside counsel in various states as well as with the company's development staff, construction staff, management staff, accounting staff, and senior team. Must have a Law degree with 1-4 years of relevant experience. Should be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must be licensed to practice law.
