Senior Compliance Counsel The candidate will partner and help establish and implement firm' strategy for managing compliance risks across the business. Develop, refine, and implement global compliance policies and procedures. Develop and help implement global compliance training. Partner with the business to build a global anti-bribery and corruption program. Partner with the business to build a global trade compliance program. Partner with the business to develop, refine and implement an internal investigation program. Act as a compliance champion by managing and validating controls to ensure that projects, documentation, and processes are compliant with current compliance regulations. Identify areas of risk for firm and advise on business-oriented solutions to reduce any areas of risk. Maintain a high-degree of knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including on any changes or updates. Work with teams to fix any activities for process imourprovement, including managing projects for compliance enhancement. Cultivate relationships with important partners and provide strategic advice on global compliance efforts. Contribute as a team player and assist as needed with the Public Sector and Employment/Disputes teams. Should have 7+ years of legal experience (either at a law firm or mix of law firm and in-house) with at least 4 years of direct work experience in: Experience developing policies, procedures and trainings in compliance-related areas; FCPA and other compliance related laws and regulations; OFAC and other sanctions and global trade related regulations; Control framework development; Analyzing processes for compliance with required procedures or control frameworks; Managing audit remediation and process improvement projects; Experience with cloud and software industries, including SaaS model, and a strong desire to work on legal issues in these areas: Ability to provide risk-based advice, improve operational efficiency, manage and think globally. Very strong process and problem solving skills at both strategic and functional levels. should be Graduate of an accredited law school. Major state bar membership is required.
