Senior Legal Counsel - Digital Media Business Development The candidate will support the Adobe Stock and other Digital Media teams in leading negotiations to acquire content for use by Adobe products and services. Draft, negotiate, and supervise business development related agreements from and Digital media team, including software licenses, strategic partnerships, technology agreements, co-marketing agreements, and influencer agreements. Be a specialist on content acquisition legal issues across Digital Media legal to support current and future product development. Keep abreast of the rapidly changing industry and legal landscape related to issues associated with content acquisition. Build positive relationships and advise multiple levels of management on legal issues. Build expertise in Digital Media products and businesses to effectively lead the drafting and negotiation of deals relating to any Digital Media product. Must have J.D. from an accredited law school and necessary bar membership. Should have 12+ years of relevant legal experience with at least 5 years of in-house experience preferred. Must have demonstrated ability to work independently to draft and negotiate complex deals with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, including flexibility to lead drafting and negotiations for different types of agreements (e.g., complex software licensing agreements, technology agreements, strategic partnerships and content acquisition agreements). Experience with content acquisition deals preferred. Should have deep understanding of intellectual property law, especially as it relates to digital assets and software.
