In-house Litigation Attorney

In-House Litigation Attorney The candidate will be responsible for: Offering counsel on a variety of legal issues. Working alongside other departments within the company. Researching and anticipating unique legal issues that could impact the company. Providing training to the company on legal topics. Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and regulations. Must have a law degree from a recognized university in Texas. Must be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Should have 4+ years of experience in defending Medical Malpractice Cases. Must have strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues. Must be able to handle all aspects of litigation from the initial claim through trial, including pleadings, motions, preparing and responding to discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations and all aspects of trial practice. Must be able to travel throughout the State of Texas as necessary.
