Cloud and Privacy Counsel The candidate will provide legal guidance on compliance matters relating to data privacy and security, including staying current with relevant global regulatory and legislative changes. Lead global, cross-functional compliance initiatives, including policy development Help support and serve as a point of escalation for the Business Officer team on Cloud, security and data privacy term, with the Business Officer team working on the rapid framing, negotiation and execution of Cloud and license transactions. Develop and update contract language, contract playbooks and fallback positions for Master Agreement terms, including Cloud terms relating to data privacy, security and Cloud operational issues. Manage team of 1-3 Cloud and Privacy Counsels, including hiring, delegating assignments, employee developing and performance management of team members. Provide continuous feedback and coaching to team. JD degree, CPP preferred. Must have 12+ years experience at law firms or technology companies with SaaS offerings. Should have 12+ years experience drafting complex Master Agreements, including License Agreements and Cloud and SaaS Agreements. Deep understanding of data privacy is required. Privacy certifications preferred. Experience developing and updating company policies relating to compliance is needed.
