Consumer Finance Regulatory Counsel The candidate will advise the business with respect to legal and regulatory matters related to company's consumer financing business, in addition to supporting commercial leasing, financing, and flexible consumption technology transactions on behalf of company. Advise the company business with respect to legal and regulatory matters related to company's consumer finance business in the US. Advise the Financial Services US stakeholders - including sales, finance, credit and operations - regarding a wide variety of commercial and regulatory topics related to technology equipment leasing and financing. Negotiate lease/finance agreements and flexible consumption technology agreements in connection with the sale of products and solutions across the company to commercial and enterprise-sector customers, including medium and large businesses.
The candidate must have a J.D. degree and 5+ years of experience in a corporate, IP, or commercial role either in-house or at a global or national law firm. Experience in lease finance transactions with end user business and/or government customers (state/local or federal sector) is preferred. General knowledge of leasing and financing laws and regulations in the US is desired. Strong knowledge of the US legal and regulatory environment related to consumer finance products, credit agreements, and state and federal licensing requirements is a must. Experience in technology transactions, including aaS agreements with end user customers or partners is essential. Strong negotiation skills are a must.
