Corporate Counsel - Technology & Data Privacy The candidate will advise on technology and privacy matters as related to various laws and regulations. Assist with implementing new regulations and drafting applicable related documents. Draft website privacy policies, EULAs, TOUs, and internal and external data privacy/security compliance policies and procedures. Draft and negotiate data processing agreements and data privacy terms in commercial agreements. Stay up to date on developments in state and federal data laws and create and maintain materials/forms and internal client alerts on the same. Advise on and manage data breach incident response efforts. Draft and negotiate vendor contracts and assist with negotiating tech and privacy portions of client contracts. Juris Doctor Degree required. Should have 4+ years of demonstrated data privacy and/or technology-related legal experience. Data Privacy Certifications a plus. Must have attention to detail with the ability to communicate and draft in simple, clear language. Should have track record of navigating complex and ambiguous environments with intelligent risk-taking.
